The Editor's Pen

This one, I've done before. Repetition, however, doesn't make it any easier. 

Around February, I felt this twinge on the bottom of my right foot, just enough to make me question whether moving was the right decision.  I can't remember when the light bulb went off, but it finally did.  I recognized the pain.  I had felt it on my left foot six years ago, resulting in surgery, a pink cast, an annoying boot, and months of physical therapy.  A year later, I could have run a marathon - IF I had wanted.  

Today, I am rocking that annoying boot again with two major differences.  My Achilles was not torn - the factor that dictates severity of surgery and recovery time - and the cast was red. A woman always has to consider color for every occasion.  To keep reading, click here.
