It's a safe bet you have heard that beautiful melody and probably native Peach Stater Ray Charles' soulful voice caressing the words.  Or maybe Willie Nelson's.  Or possibly Zac Brown's, Gladys Knight's, or one of the hundred-plus musicians ranging from these to Louie Armstrong, Bing Crosby, Jerry Lee Lewis and Van Morrison, among many more, who've found the song irresistible.

Weaving Art & Agriculture

Garden with a visionary when you visit Sylvester in southwest Georgia's Worth County.  Nibble a leaf of the youngest, freshest lettuce ever.  Maybe even grill a catfish right after caching one or two out of a pond sparkling with the sun's reflections.  THis is all possible in the village community garden where people of many ages and lifestyles gather at random or with intention, lingering all afternoon or quickly cutting a cabbage for dinner.

Q & A: Marty Jones

As a decade-long resident of Rockdale County, Marty Jones has worn many hats during his tenure.  However, with the humming of activity on-going in the county, leading the economic development council could be his most exhausting. Growing out of the bedroom community status, Jones hope to lead the Conyers-Rockdale area as one of the most alluring neighborhoods outside of the metro Atlanta area.
