These words spread across social media as the COVID-19 pandemic began to unfold. While everyone had to get used to social distancing and canceled plans, daily life changed in different ways for each member of my household. By March 2020, my husband’s commute became a matter of steps rather than miles, and his office in town stood empty while he spent his weekdays sitting at our dining room table in a borrowed office chair.
